at the traditional pain scale.

Very useful as well for those with a high pain tolerance when dealing with medical professionals. I always have trouble rating my pain 1-10 since I've experienced extreme pain before and even when I'm in terrible pain, I know that it could be worse and often rate it lower than I should. Thank you for sharing this.
I detest having to rate my pain on the 1-10 scale. I am hypersensitive to pain, but I live with it constantly, so I generally rate my pain at a 4, with spikes to 7 and 8 daily. I don't think it accurately describes my pain, and I wish I could find a better way to explain it.
